A day on the upper East Coast

I had a rare opportunity today to spend some time on the East Coast between Bicheno and Binalong Bay on the Bay of Fires. Usually if I’m up this way, I’m just passing through, but today I had time to take my time, get out the camera and generally take the path less travelled.

The beach is tiny but perfect and the sandstone ledge on the western edge sits above a marine reserve where I have seen sea dragons and other aquatic creatures while snorkelling just offshore.
